Notice: Entry to 2 Willow Road is by tour only for the first part of the day. Tours at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm are filled on a first come, first served basis at the door on the day itself. Alternatively, you can explore independently from 3pm. Last entry is at 4.30pm.

Unique and influential Modernist home from 1939

This unique Modernist home was designed by architect Ernö Goldfinger in 1939 for himself and his family.

With surprising design details that were ground-breaking at the time and still feel fresh today, the house also contains the Goldfingers' impressive collection of modern art, intriguing personal possessions and innovative furniture.

2 Willow Road is a member of London Small Historic Houses (London Shh).

Entry is by guided tour during the first part of the day to protect our special place for conservation reasons. Our tours are at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Places are limited and are available on the day at the door on a first-come first-served basis and cannot be booked in advance.

Major contemporary artist Ryan Gander has created an exhibition of new art that responds to Ernö Goldfinger’s groundbreaking designs at 2 Willow Road. The exhibition runs from 1 March to 2 November, and admission includes entrance to the house. Admission to the house is by tour between 11am and 2pm or you can explore on your own from 3pm to 5pm.
