Centres and Associations are affiliated to the National Trust and have a common constitution.
Independent local groups run by members and volunteers for members and volunteers, they have
a small subscription charge to cover administration costs.
Centres and Associations exist to promote the work of the National Trust and make membership
more enjoyable by allowing their members to share their interests with like-minded people in
their area. Through an organised year-long programme of talks, outings, holidays and social
events members make friends, learn more about the National Trust and its properties and
support its work.
