Annual reports
2011/12
If you are keen to find out more about the National Trust and the way we work, you can now view the 2011/12 annual report.
2011/12 surprised us. In the middle of recession, membership continued to grow – to more than 4 million at one point – and visitor numbers at pay-for-entry places rose by 1.7 million to more than 19 million. We owe much to the hard work of our 6,000 staff and over 67,000 volunteers in bucking the trend.
The Board of Trustees’ report talks about our performance over the year and our progress in delivering our strategy, highlighting many of our success stories throughout the year. The Chairman, Director-General, Board of Trustees and Council all give their view on the year just gone, and we present our final financial statements for the year.
The report is accessible, but if you do experience any difficulties using it, please contact annualreport@nationaltrust.org.uk or telephone 01793 817995.
