The Terry family of chocolate fame used to enjoy sumptuous dinners in their wood-panelled dining room, complete with glorious views over their Arts and Crafts garden. Now, it is run by a team of volunteers who are passionate about bringing the room back to life through food.

We have a new range of delectable handmade cakes, from the classic victoria sponge to the devilish chocolate orange cake. Treat yourself to a traditional cream tea or try something new from our freshly ground coffee selection.

We use local ingredients and traditional techniques to bring you a taste of 1930s decadence, perfect for a mid-afternoon treat or meeting up with friends.

Our volunteers are on hand if you want to find out more about the Terrys and their chocolate factory, or to share your memories of childhood chocolate favourites. Or, just sit back and relax, enjoy the views of the garden and the delightful Arts and Crafts house, and indulge in a slice (or two) of our teatime treats.

Fancy adding a bit of 1930s glamour to your event? Goddards dining room, drawing room and garden are all available for private hire. Please call 01904 771930 for details.
