Cities are always in flux. None more so than London, one of the most diverse and vibrant cities in the world. Our mission is to keep Londoners’ relationships with London's unique, surprising and special places alive and well.
This won’t happen by simply ossifying our heritage in museum displays. It will happen by bringing the history, stories and character of places to life in new, exciting and relevant ways.
We are working with a number of partners to create experimental, innovative and authentic experiences that respond to their unique settings. From food to performance, art to play, The London Project reinterprets places through the lens of London’s contemporary cultural scene.
Each of our one-off late night events is inspired by - and held at - a special London location. London Lates pop up in a different place each month combined with a fresh collaboration with leading creative talents from the capital.
This year we have taken over places including a magnificent seventeenth century mansion, Ham House in Richmond, and a fabulous 1950s ballroom, the Rivoli Ballroom in Brockley. To date our London Lates have included everything from ghost hunting and film making to immersive cinema.
Explore Soho with our app
Our award-wining GPS-based app gives an audio tour of London’s most bohemian neighbourhood. As you walk the streets, Soho Stories knows where you are and whispers its hedonistic history in your ear.
This year, the app had a special update to include material on infamous Soho entrepreneur Paul Raymond.
