Helping us protect a very special Snowdonia
We look after 12% of the Snowdonia National Park including 11 of the highest and most popular peaks, which as you can imagine is no mean feat.
Keeping a balance
We are striving to maintain a delicate balance between the need to preserve and protect its wildlife habitats, and the need to promote and improve public access - so all can enjoy its beauty.
Where we work
We are responsible for delivering a range of conservation, land management and access management projects in Snowdonia. The team focuses mainly on access and we'll be prioritising most of our work in Eifionydd, the Carneddau and the Glyderau.
What we do
From footpath maintenance, bridge building, controlling invasive species and dry-stone walling, our work is diverse and requires a dedicated team of Snowdonia Appeal Rangers who battle extreme weather and high altitudes to get the essential work done.

We couldn't carry out this work without donations to our Snowdonia Appeal, in the words of our rangers: "Our work is entirely dependent on donations made to the appeal", Rhys Thomas, Ranger Supervisor.
Saving special places
These crucial donations not only support the vital work of our rangers' but have also allowed us to acquire some truly special places such as Hafod y Llan and Llyndy Isaf ensuring they will be protected forever.
To support our work
