Nestled in the beautiful Nantgwynant valley at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, this basic family-friendly campsite is ideally placed for exploring the surrounding area.
In the heart of the mountains
You can hike up Snowdon by joining the Watkin path from the top of the campsite, discover the Hafod y Llan farm trail or visit the quaint village of Beddgelert (only four miles away) where you can take a stroll along the picturesque Aberglaslyn river to Gelert's grave.
Enjoy evenings star gazing or relaxing around the camp fire.
Facilities include hot showers, toilet blocks, camp fire, tumble drier and car park (next to the campsite).
We operate on a first-come, first-served policy, so no need to book unless you’re a large group. We’re usually open from Easter holiday to October half term (depending on the weather).
Adults - £7 each per night
Children (under-16) - £3 each per night
Fires - £7 per fire per night, including wood.
If you’re staying more than four nights, we offer a discount of £1 per person per night.
