The ornamental weeping cherry tree, Prunus pendula ‘Pendula Rosea’ with its graceful arching branches smothered with semi-double flowers, is one of the loveliest trees in the spring time garden.
The spreading branches of Prunus ‘Shirotae’ carries scented white blossom during April and May. This ornamental cherry is a breathtaking sight in full bloom on the tennis court lawn.
Plants are affected by the weather and despite our gardeners’ best efforts, sometimes they don’t always bloom when we expect. If you’re making a special journey do call beforehand and our staff will be delighted to provide an update on what you can see.
