Join us for a fun-filled weekend of garden games with Jaques of London at Ham House.
Fun and games with Jaques is back by popular demand, having begun last summer as a one off event. This summer, it promises to bigger and better and will run for two weekends on 28-29 June and 26-27 July.
Jaques of London is proud to be the oldest manufacturer of traditional games in the world. Running for over 200 years, they are responsible for inventing some of the most loved traditional English games, such as croquet, table tennis, and the Staunton chess set.
Expect Punch and Judy shows, tombola, giant outdoor games, picnic baskets and plenty of croquet for all the family. Come on down for a weekend in the great outdoors playing traditional games with the stunning backdrop of Ham House.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the rare and atmospheric Baroque interior and 17th century gardens of Ham House.
The house is internationally recognised for its superb collection of paintings, furniture and textiles, largely acquired 400 years ago. A unique 17th century treasure trove.
Outside, the restored 17th century garden includes a productive kitchen garden growing many heritage crops, the formal ‘Wilderness’, places to relax complete with summerhouses and many beautiful spots perfect for a picnic.
