We're working in partnership with green electricity supplier Good Energy to build an energy future that will help keep the nation’s special places fit for generations to come.
Not only does Good Energy source its electricity from certified renewable sources like sunshine, wind and rain, it’s generated by a growing community of independent generators across the UK. A number of them can be found at our sites, like the PV system at Powis Castle or the hydro at Aberdulais Falls in Wales.
When you switch your home to Good Energy quoting 'National Trust', they’ll donate money to help us fund more of our own green energy projects, cut our energy use and inspire others to do the same.
They’ll give us £25 if you choose their electricity and £40 if you choose their dual fuel supply. Good Energy will also give us up to £40 (depending on whether you are signed up to electricity or dual fuel) in every subsequent year you are a customer to ensure our good work can continue.
Switching is easy
Switching to Good Energy couldn’t be simpler. There’s no disruption to your electricity or gas supply and you don't need a new meter or someone to rewire your home. All Good Energy need are a few details and five minutes of your time.
Why Good Energy
At Good Energy, all their electricity comes from certified renewable sources like sunshine, wind and water.
Award-winning customer care
Imagine being able to say 'I enjoy speaking to my energy supplier.' Customer Phil Jones did. It's comments like this that have helped Good Energy gain top spot in the Which? customer satisfaction survey twice in the last 3 years.
How to switch
Choosing Good Energy doesn't mean a new meter, or someone coming round to rewire your home. It just means spending less than five minutes filling in an online form with a few details.
Don't forget to quote National Trust when you switch, to help us continue to protect the UK's special places.
