Making a visit to Father Christmas adds that extra bit of magic to the festive season for little ones (and the young at heart). So it’s good news that the man himself will be making some special stop-offs at places we look after this Christmas.

Santa will be setting up his grotto in beautifully decorated surroundings and even out amongst the winter scenery. There’ll be the chance to tell him your Christmas wishes and listen to festive stories as well as enjoy mince pies, mulled wine and family-friendly Christmas trails.

Visiting elves from the North Pole will be inviting you to join in with craft events as they prepare for a busy Christmas Eve and Mother Christmas will be dropping by. Father Christmas will also be taking a trip back in time to Christmas in the Victorian and Tudor eras.

Come along to see Santa and you’ll not only put a bit of sparkle into your Yuletide, you’ll also be helping us look after special places from historic houses to ancient castles, enchanting woods to charming gardens.
