We would like to welcome you to the Southport and Formby Association of the National Trust.

We were founded in 1971 and have on average between 350 and 400 members, most of them living in and around the Southport and Formby area. To join you have to be a member of the National Trust or the National Trust of Scotland. We join together in a programme of events throughout the year which includes holidays, day trips, lectures and theatre outings. Through these activities we raise money for, and promote the work of the National Trust, and twice a year we publish our own brochure with details of forthcoming events and other news. The main National Trust properties that we have links with in our area are:

  • Speke Hall
  • Rufford Old Hall
  • Formby Squirrel and Nature Reserve

We would like to tell you more about our group; you will find details of our membership enquiry by clicking here and information about our current activities by clicking here.
