A perfect spot at Alfriston Clergy House

The Eastbourne Association was originally part of an earlier National Trust group. It began its independent life as the Seven Sisters Centre in 1972 and adopted its present name in 2005.

We welcome new members. Current members of the National Trust and affiliated organisations, and National Trust volunteers are all eligible.

Most members live in Eastbourne and the surrounding districts.

We usually support local National Trust properties including Alfriston Clergy House, Birling Gap and Bateman’s. We have donated £3,500 for the re-thatching of the Clergy House.

In the spring and summer, outings are arranged (usually by coach with pick-up points). There is also a programme of walks. We also arrange talks and other social events, including lunches, at various times of the year.
