The Beckenham & Bromley Centre was formed in 1975 to enable members of the National Trust to enjoy more fully their membership by arranging:

  • lectures
  • visits
  • holidays
  • and social events

to increase support for the National Trust by publicising it and recruiting more members; and to raise money to help the National Trust conserve Britain's heritage for future generations.

Membership of the centre is open to all National Trust members and volunteers.

Monthly meetings are held in Bromley on Wednesday evenings throughout the year and in Beckenham on Thursday afternoons during the winter months.

Most meetings consist of an illustrated lecture. Visitors are most welcome. A small admission charge is made.

Visits, special events and holidays are advertised in the centre's newsletter, which is produced three times a year.
