Southampton and District Centre was founded in 1972 and currently has over 200 members who live in Southampton and the surrounding areas, including Chandlers Ford, Romsey and the Waterside.
Our objectives are:
- to promote the work of the National Trust
- to raise funds in support of local National Trust projects
- to arrange a programme of events and activities to enhance members appreciation of our heritage.
We have a series of winter talks, summer outings and social events. The talks are given at the Salvation Army Hall in Shirley, Southampton, at 2.30 pm - usually on the third Thursday in the month, from September to April.
By taking part you will make good friends and help to raise funds for a variety of National Trust projects. Among the properties we support are Mottisfont, Hinton Ampner and Winchester City Mill - as well as Enterprise Neptune, helping to protect our splendid coastline.
