The Guildford NTV group started in 1981. The group carries out about 360 hours of conservation work on behalf of the National Trust each year, with work parties organised approximately once a month on Sundays.

We work at National Trust places extending from Headley Heath in the east of Surrey to Frensham ponds in the west, with the odd foray further afield. The tasks we undertake include: downland, heathland and woodland clearance, footpath maintenance, pond clearing and fencing.

The group also has an active social programme including; pub nights, swimming, walks, bowling, visits to properties and exhibitions and more.

Membership of the group is open to anyone, no special skills are required and all tools are provided.
