Finch Foundry is one of the places where our members volunteer

The West Devon Association was founded in 1979 with a membership drawn mainly from the market towns of Tavistock and Okehampton.

The River Tamar forms our western boundary with Plymouth City boundary to the south. The towns of Winkleigh, Holsworthy and Torrington fall into our northern catchment area whilst the Dartmoor National Park bounds our eastern fringes.

Many of our members are actively involved in volunteering at Finch Foundry, Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge. Castle Drogo is nearby and in recent years we have made substantial contributions towards projects at Tyntesfield, Greenway, Finch Foundry and Godolphin.
