Peterborough & Stamford Association
We financially support local National Trust places
Peterborough and Stamford Association was founded in 1979 and has an active membership drawn from a wide area in both Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.
Our objectives are to:
- promote the National Trust locally
- raise funds for local and national properties
- enhance our knowledge of the work of the National Trust, and more, through lectures and outings.
We seek to do all this in a sociable and friendly setting, meeting alternately for lectures in Stamford and Peterborough.
Our affairs are conducted by an active committee of officers and members elected at our AGM in November each year.
We financially support local National Trust places including Woolsthorpe Manor, Belton House, The Priest's House and Lyveden New Bield on a regular basis including also other places and activities elsewhere depending on their particular needs.
Our members provide volunteer support at all four local places.
