East Suffolk Association
A warm welcome awaits you at the East Suffolk Association. We exist to provide a local meeting point, whilst enjoying an interesting talk, and to enjoy day trips (or a few days of holiday) to visit places of interest, including National Trust and other properties and gardens.
From September to May there is a varied programme of talks held usually once a month at 7.15pm on a Tuesday evening. (Unless this clashes with an Ipswich Town home fixture). We meet at St Matthews School, Portman Road, Ipswich, IP1 2AX, where there is plenty of car parking space. Coffee and biscuits are available in the interval.
Membership is open to members of the National Trust and to NT volunteers. Subscription is £8 for the first member and £4 for each additional member at the same address. Visitors are most welcome at £2 per person per talk.
Apart from free entry to each talk, members receive a newsletter 3 times per year, which helps to keep them informed of our activities and the planned talks and outings. Surplus funds are used to support the National Trust properties within the region.
