Setting up family volunteering activities

These pages are for National Trust properties and other organisations who are interested in running activities where families can volunteer together.

We ran a pilot project for family volunteering over the course of a year, building upon existing practice within the National Trust and developing new ways for families to get actively involved in our work.

We discovered there were lots of benefits us as an organisation and for families taking part in activities. Have a look at our films, tips and resources to find out what we did and what we learnt.
