The Cardiff Association strives to offer a friendly group where members can share a common love of our heritage, countryside and gardens and enhance the experience of their involvement with the National Trust.
We organise a stimulating calendar of events including day trips between February and October to places of interest (usually within two hours drive of Cardiff). During the winter months there are afternoon or evening talks in Lisvane Memorial Hall, Rhiwbina Memorial Hall and the Parish Hall in Dinas Powys.
Members benefit from a regular newsletter which gives full details of our programme of events including social events such as our wonderful Christmas dinner. Membership rates are £6 for an individual and £10 for joint membership.
The group makes regular contributions to National Trust places including Dinefwr Park, Llandeilo, Some years ago it funded the purchase of some of the famous white cattle there. Recently it paid for mountain bikes for the Stackpole Activity Centre in Pembrokeshire.
