Starters and soups

- Preparation time: 10 minutes
- Cooking time: 20 minutes
- 500g cranberries (fresh or frozen)
- 150g sugar
- 1 small orange, juice and zest
- 2 tablespoons port (optional)
Wash cranberries and place in a pan with orange zest and juice.
Add sugar and heat gently until sugar is dissolved. Add port and gradually bring to a boil.
Cook for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
Pour into sterilised jars and cover with jam pot covers.
Serve with turkey or cold meats.
Delicious with soft cheese as a starter.
