  • 240g chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 25g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Seasoning
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Sauce:

  • 25ml vegetable oil

  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • ½ small bunch of fresh coriander
  • 1 fresh carrot grated

Method

  1. For the meatballs, thoroughly combine all the ingredients in a bowl, roll out into 24 balls and leave to rest in the fridge.
  2. In the meantime, gently fry the onions, garlic, carrot and onion in a pan until soft.
  3. Add the tomatoes and the stock cube dissolved into 500ml of boiling water.
  4. Simmer for 30 minutes until the sauce is thick and cooked through. Add the chopped coriander and season to taste.
  5. Fry the meatballs in a small amount of oil, serve hot with the tomato sauce over them.
