The orchard or formal lawns surrounding the house at Polesden Lacey are perfect for picnics. Views of the Surrey Hills are breathtaking, and the rose garden and tulip boarder are special. There’s also a woodland play area to explore.
The 400 acres of the Hatchlands Park estate is a great place to explore. There are six waymarked walks taking in parkland, woodland and wild flower meadows. And the highlights of the year are the brilliant bluebells and autumn colour.
A beautiful hillside retreat all year round, with colourful plants and trees, and wonderful views across its lakes. It’s famous for its vibrant spring and autumn colour, but in the summer it's an ideal place for family days out and picnics.
