At Attingham learning is brought to life through our extensive range of hands-on programmes, which have been awarded the Sandford Award for Heritage Education. We're proud of their quality and happy to work with you to ensure your school has the best possible experience.
Outdoor programmes in our park
'Wildlife at Attingham' is our outdoor programme. Choose from a variety of activities including pond dipping, bug hunting and Deer Park rides to create your visit.
Please contact us if you would like to focus on one particular area of the Park or to arrange repeat visits to see how the Park changes throughout the seasons.
We also have an orienteering course mapped out which is suitable for primary schools.
Programmes inside our mansion
We offer the following indoor programmes, which can be adapted to suit your needs:
- Homes in the past
- WWII at Attingham
- Food in the past (new for 2015)
- Christmas in the past (November-December)
If you wish to explore the grounds of Attingham with your class you are welcome to self-guide.
Self-guided visits are free to Education Group Members (EGM), but must be pre-booked in advance with the Learning team.
