Autumn light walk

Golden autumn evenings transform our deer park - make the most of the softer light on this two mile walk. The peace of the deer park makes it the ideal spot to soak up the views over the landscape, and you might spot the fallow deer with their dappled brown coats. For the best golden views, enjoy this self-guided walk near the end of our opening hours.

Reflections walk

Take this looping walk around the river to see the autumn colours rippling across the water of the river Tern, from the greens of early autumn to the peaches, pinks and pale blue washes of autumn sunsets. The skies make this walk different every time - why not bring your camera to capture the changes?

Food and fungi walk

Autumn brings out the best in the Mile Walk – and the best rainbow displays in the Walled Garden. Take this walk to admire the harvest's colours, and to try and spot the delicate fungi in the woodland. Whilst you can’t eat the fungi, you can treat yourself to some freshly-picked produce from the Walled Garden in our shop.

Nordic Walking

Try walking a different way with Nordic Walking taster sessions on Saturday 14 September. Great for neck, shoulder and back problems, Nordic Walking tones your whole body yet is easy on the knees and joints. If you enjoy this fun taster session, there are full length courses available too.

Food for thought

Ever wondered what could we eat if the supermarket disappeared? Join our outdoors experts to find out on a two mile "Ranger's Lunchbox" walk - meet in the stables courtyard at 2pm on Sunday 21 September.
