Step into our stories

Explore the mansion before the crowds and dig deeper into our past on a guided tour. Our tours vary daily, from tales of scandal to secrets of our conservation team, and places are limited. To book a place or find out what's on today, please ask at Visitor Reception on arrival - there's no extra charge and tours are available from 10.30am daily.

As work continues on our roofing project we’ll be offering tours to see the work in progress—and onto the scaffolding to look at the damage we need to repair. Get up close to our grade one listed Regency roof and see the intricacy of the damaged decorations and the glitz and gold that we’re bringing back. To find out if our scaffold guides are in today, ring Visitor Reception on 01743 708154 - tours start on Monday 14 April.
