Hallowe'en fun

23-31 October, 11-4pm, £2 per trail.

This half-term join us for activities with a spooky theme.  Hunt for witches' cats around the garden, create creepy crafts, or just explore the atmospheric stones.

Walk back in time

Spend a day wandering miles of rolling chalk downland, where sheep graze amongst ancient stone circles, avenues and burial mounds.


Autumn events

The golden light of autumn shows our monuments at their atmospheric best. 

Get away from the high street and explore the stone circle on one of our popular winter warmer walks with an archaeologist.

The orchard in Avebury Manor Garden, Wiltshire

Most of Avebury Manor garden closes for the winter from 3 November.  Before we put the garden to bed make sure you explore the orchard, half moon garden and the south lawn for views back to the house.
