Christmas through the ages at the Manor

4-23 December (not Wednesdays)

Each room has been adorned with hand made decorations created by our team of volunteers.  We have styles from the past, as well as new ones based on sun, moon and stars.

Unwind and refresh with a frosty walk

Spend a day wandering miles of rolling chalk downland, where sheep graze amongst ancient stone circles, avenues and burial mounds.

Winter is an atmospheric time to experience this special place.

  • Create your own decorations in the Barn

  • See if you can spot the large dial of the 18th-century turret clock
  • Our museum, cafe and shop are open throughout the winter except Christmas Eve to Boxing Day

Hot soup, warming stews and sticky gingerbread await you after a bracing walk in the stones.
