Enjoy a meal in the Strode Restaurant

Barrington Court has two places for food and refreshment. The Orchard Café, near the entrance and car park, serves coffee and light snacks. And with 12 picnic tables outside, it's the ideal place to take in the atmosphere. The Strode Restaurant is grandly set overlooking the Lily Garden and Water Court.

Our gift shop is a good starting point for your shopping experience at Barrington. Then wander over to the farm buildings. They're home to the Muddy Dog Company, which makes leather goods; the Barrington Pottery; Josef Mesar, a great wood carver; and Janet East with her quilting workshop.

There's a huge range of plants on sale, you'll find many of the varieties in our own flower gardens. The plant sales team are overflowing with plant and gardening knowledge, which they're always very happy to share.

    Paul the Potter

    Paul Jessop lives in the village and runs Barrington Pottery. His workshop opens six days a week.

    Jozef is a highly skilled wood carver and produces lovely work and takes commissions.

The Orchard Café

Our newly refurbished Orchard Café is now open! It serves specialty coffees, homemade cakes, light lunches and local ice cream. It's open every day except Wednesday from 11am - 5pm. Drop in for a coffee soon.

Apple Day at Barrington Court
