The first view of Basildon Park

You are invited to explore Basildon Park, the house that Lord and Lady Iliffe loving restored in the 1950s, salvaging many fixings and fittings from across the country to make their home. After 25 years in the mansion the Iliffes kindly passed the house into the care of the National Trust, securing its survival forever.
