  • Toilets located at Prior Park Landscape Garden, which is a pay-to-enter National Trust parkland. Access by foot only via Ralph Allen drive

  • Local shops offering light refreshments can be found in nearby Widcombe and Combe Down
  • A National Trust gift shop is located in the Abbey Churchyard, Bath
  • Dogs are welcome under close control and must be kept on leads when near livestock grazing
  • A Bath Skyline leaflet detailing the 6 mile circular walk can be obtained from Prior Park's visitor reception, the National Trust shop and Bath Tourist Information Centre
  • The Bath YHA youth hostel is the perfect base from which to xplore the Bath Skyline
  • Rainbow Wood Farm B&B in Claverton Down backs onto the Bath Skyline
  • Visit Bath Golf Club (18-holes), near Sham Castle, Bath
  • Big open spaces are great for kite flying
  • A geocache is located at Sham Castle, by the golf course

Access

  • Accessible toilets are located at Prior Park
  • The footpaths that cross the estate are made up of various surfaces of woodchip, gravel and mud. These can become very muddy after wet weather
  • There are some very steep climbs in places, especially at Little Solsbury Hill
  • Kissing gates are located at access points and boundary crossings. Suitable footwear is recommended
