Wide open space overlooking the World Heritage City of Bath
Explore the Bath Skyline along six miles of way-marked footpaths.
Discover hidden valleys, rich in limestone flowers and tranquil beech woodlands, interspersed with extensive views over Bath and out towards the Blackdown Hills.
The Iron Age fort on Little Solsbury Hill offers the perfect vantage point for spectacular views over Bath.
The limestone grassland slopes support a variety of plants and attract a number of butterflies.
The skylark has also made its home here. Listen out for their distinctive song, a warbling of short trills, in late spring.
Take a look at our new for families page and keep up to date with children’s events, get info on the family discovery trail or get ideas on 50 things challenges you can complete.
Please note that some remaining infrastructure in the family discovery trail still needs to be set up during the summer holidays.
Sun 28 September, 3 - 7.30pm
Join our ranger on a guided walk of the Bath Skyline and learn all about nature conservation and local history along the way. Soak up the evening atmosphere around this special place as we watch a stunning sunset over the World Heritage Site of Bath.
Help us keep our countryside beautiful for everyone to enjoy
- Please be responsible and 'bag and bin' your dog waste; you're welcome to use any general waste bin
