The Tale of Pigling Bland - exhibition

2013 means it's a hundred years since Beatrix Potter's Tale of Pigling Bland was published. Beatrix used the local scenery in several of the illustrations so it's a work inspired by Beatrix's life here in the Lake District.

New interactive touch screen technology, along with audio extracts from Beatrix's journal, and activity sheets and 'book corners' for children make the Beatrix Potter Gallery a really family friendly place to visit, with the opportunity to learn more about the author and her famous creation.
