Places to stay
Be a master of your own valley
We are lucky to have some of the best holiday cottages, in the best locations. What could be better than the Coastguard Cottages, in Peppercombe, a private valley with access to a beach with sweeping views? Or a remote lighthouse or medieval manor? The only problem you will have is deciding which one to stay in first.
Want to escape with a group of friends?
Exmoor Bunkhouse sleeps up to 18 people. Whether you are a group of friends wanting to get away or a residential trip, this is a great value option.
Two large dormitories and a leaders room, hot showers, fully equipped kitchen and solar assisted heating make it a cosy place to stay to explore Exmoor.
Fantastic support form The Old Rectory
Proprietors Huw and Sam, and their guests are helping to support the National Trust in North Devon through a unique donation scheme. The money raised is used to look after the coastline here.
The Old Rectory is an award winning boutique hotel near the Heddon Valley. Last year they raised over £1,500 for us, so thank you very much.
Try our new style accommodation near to Clovelly. It is basic, but the views and solitude more than make up for the lack of cushions and carpet. Pack for a camping trip but leave the tent at home and stay in this converted stone barn. There is no electric or hot water and the toilet is outside, but you do get an almost private beach.
