Daisy was dwarfed by the landrover wheels when she first came to work

If you're watching Inside the National Trust on ITV you'll have met Daisy, the ranger puppy. She was still very little when she first encountered things like Land Rovers and TV cameras, but it didn't seem to daunt her at all.

Daisy belongs to Roy Henderson, the ranger for the Borrowdale Valley, and every day she accompanies him as he carries out vital conservation work in the valley. Her playful nature has made her a favourite of the staff and volunteers in the North Lakes office, and also seemed to win over the TV crew who were filming throughout the year for the programme.

We had great fun welcoming Michael Buerk and the film crew to our little patch of heaven - all the staff and volunteers are looking forward to watching the episodes. We're pretty confident that Daisy the Ranger Dog will win a place in your hearts too - if you see her and Roy out and about in Borrowdale, do stop and say hello.
