The site of the Pont ar Daf development

The plans for the new development at Pont ar Daf are now well underway, and we're really excited about how they're progressing.

The development will offer a unique place to come and visit the Brecon Beacons. The new countryside hub will be the 'gateway to the Beacons'. It will feature a large car park, a café and other facilities to make your visit a better one. The site, at the foot of Pen y Fan, is an ideal place to start your adventure in the mountains.

We'd love to here what you think of the proposals. Take a look at the plans and send us your comments by email.

Footpath work on the Brecon Beacons

Over 70km of footpaths and bridleways criss-cross the central Brecon Beacons. During the last decade, 15km of these routes have had a path line defined. Completing this work has involved a lot of hard work and cost. We spend on average £100,000 per year on materials and transport to make this work possible.
