What's on
We've a range of exciting events and activities coming up in 2012. From guided walks, den builds and nature trails to outdoor theatre – join us for your very own island adventure.
Walking

Walking through the woods with wellies on
Take part in a daily introductory Brownsea Island walk, or self-led red squirrel and Scouting and Guiding trail. We have lots of guided wildlife and special interest walks throughout the year; please get in touch for further details. Soak up stunning coastal views on our coastal view point pathways or discover more secluded spots on our woodland walk, all marked on our welcome map.
Bird spotting

Grab a tracker pack and go in search of sika deer and wood ants
Bring your binoculars along and visit one of bird hides on the island, look out for avocets, terns and godwits on the lagoon and woodpeckers and small seed eating birds in the woodland.
Electric buggy tours

For visitors who are less mobile, this beautiful island can be explored through our electric buggy tours. Helpful and fascinating guides will take you on a trip around the island. They will stop at various sites of interest so that you can enjoy the views, wildlife and history that is to be found here.
