Ennerdale Autumn Sky

With four lakes running through our property this is truly the Lake District.

From quiet lakeside walks to beautiful picnic spots, excellent fishing for the rare Arctic Char and our Premium Wild Brown Trout from boat or bank, we have everything to offer. Explore the lakesides and discover a tranquility that is rare in this busy world.

We love and care for this beautiful area and hope you will too.

  • Buttermere

One of our most beautiful lakes, Buttermere is situated between Honister pass and the hamlet of Buttermere. The lake is surrounded by a dramatic landscape, a mixture of upland and woodland and dominated by the high fells of  Fleetwith Pike, Hay Stacks, High Stile, Robinson and Grasmoor.

  • Crummock Water

Crummock water lies between Buttermere and Loweswater, the lake is 2.5 miles long. Melbreak fell runs the full length of the lake on the far side from the road.  The landscape around Crummock water is open and remote fell land.

  • Loweswater

Loweswater is one of our quieter lakes. It is nestled in the far west surrounded by woodland. The lake is over looked by several fells including  Melbreak, Blake fell and Burnbank Fell.

  • Ennerdale water

If you want peace and quiet in the Lakes, then Ennerdale Water is your best bet! The only lake without a road along its full length, Ennerdale Water can best be seen from Angler's Crag, a rocky foothill that looms over its southern shores.
