Canons Ashby looking beautiful in the frost

Visit Canons Ashby over our nine days of Christmas and discover how the Victorians celebrated this special time of year.

The house is traditionally decorated for the season, and is open from 12 midday to 4pm between 30 November and 8 December. The house is open for free flow visits during weekends, and for guided house tours on weekdays. Book on to a tour on a weekday when you arrive and meet a variety of colourful costumed characters.

Delicious Christmas lunches

Enjoy a two-course Christmas lunch, with a choice of tea or coffee. Sittings are at 12.30pm on Monday 2, Friday 6 and Sunday 8 December. Booking essential, £14.95 per person.

Buy your Christmas presents in the Coach House shop and enjoy a tasty treat in the Stables Tearoom

The Coach House is open for business, selling all kinds of perfect presents for your friends and family this Christmas.

The Stables Tearoom is a cosy retreat from the winter weather. Why not treat yourself to a mug of something warm, or enjoy a full meal?

Evening opening

Don’t miss this chance to experience Canons Ashby at night. Canons Ashby will be open on Wednesday 4 December between 6pm and 8.30pm. See the Great Hall and Great Kitchen of the house in twilight, roam around the gardens, enjoy a snack from the tearooms, and of course, shop for Christmas presents in the Coach House.
