This Arts and Crafts-style house with elegant Art Deco-influenced interior is situated in a spectacular coastal setting. The luxuriant gardens have year-round interest with a wide variety of rare and exotic plants that thrive in the moist and sheltered valley, a gazebo with fine views and water features. The gardens are at their best in March–September.

Arriving by coach at Coleton

There is parking for one coach and booking is essential. The lane to Coleton Fishacre is narrow and can be busy, use of passing places and reversing may be necessary, instructions for coach drivers will be given.
A bite to eat in Coleton Café

Coleton Café serves delicious lunches and snacks. For group numbers over 20, we advise that visits to the house and café are staggered to help prevent long queues.
School and community groups

School and community group visits are welcomed for pre-booked indoor and outdoor activities. Please contact us us to discuss your needs.

Discover a true gem sheltered in a delightful Devon valley that follows a stream from the Arts and Crafts-style house to the cliff edge, with views to the beautiful cove below. With the help of one of our passionate team, you’ll explore the abundance of rare and exotic plants in this luxuriant garden, created by Rupert and Lady Dorothy D’Oyly Carte in the 1920s.
