Purbeck Association of the National Trust (PANT) is a friendly group of National Trust members and volunteers who get together regularly to enjoy each other’s company and support the work of the Trust. PANT is independent of The National Trust but exists to make membership more enjoyable.

Most, but not all, of PANT’s 400-plus members live in Purbeck. A busy schedule includes outings to places of interest in spring and summer, and talks by visiting speakers over the winter months; venues for the talks alternate between Swanage and Wareham.

There are also social events throughout the year, including a Christmas lunch and a summer barbecue. PANT is one of around 200 similar groups in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, which have over the years raised more than £21 million between them to support our work.
