Make butter the Victorian way...

Explore the House with your group when it’s closed to other visitors. Suitable for KS1/KS2/KS3 – guided.

Suggested themes/areas of focus include; life in Victorian times, Lord Armstrong the Innovator and Servants’ life in Victorian times. We can tailor a theme to your needs and/or key stage.  Max 80 pupils, £2 per child.
 

Activity days

Fun activity days

A brief tour of House and three practical workshops. Make butter, dress as an upper-class Victorian adult, explore leisure activities and play with Victorian toys. Suitable for KS2 – guided.
Max 35 pupils, £4 per child.

A short tour of House with three handling sessions built in. Suitable for KS1 – guided. Max 60 pupils, £4 per child

A combined tour of the House with practical water based activity sessions exploring Lord Armstrong’s use of water in the afternoon. Suitable for KS2 – guided. Max 30 pupils, £4 per child.
 

Bushcraft

Learn more about outdoor survival with a bushcraft course

Get dirty doing bushcraft in our unspoilt woodland. Suitable for all key stages - run in partnership with and guided by Wild Harmony.
A flat rate of £160 per group. Max 30 pupils.
