This summer, we've got a brand new Barefoot Walk installation to explore. Kick off your shoes and give your feet a treat - discover the different textures of nature including wet mud, smooth pebbles and rough wood.

Don't forget it's one of the 50 things activities too - so once you've had a go you can tick off No.24!

Visit the new den building area at Crozier car park and build yourself a home out of natural materials. How will you make your perfect den?

You can also stay connected with the forest phone network and call your friends in neighbouring dens.

The Labyrinth is a network of winding paths and tunnels cut out of a vast area of Rhododendron forest, perfect for a game of hide-and-seek! 

Coming soon this summer - the Musical Box, a brand new installation hidden deep within the Labyrinth.

We have a wonderful play area to explore at Cragside - swing across the monkey bars, whizz down the spiral slide or take a seat at our picnic benches.
