Come and sample our own mince pies

Our Christmas menu will start on 6th December and include your favourite cakes and snacks including mulled wine and mince pies. There will be hot turkey baps on Saturdays and turkey roast or pork roast lunches and a veggie option on Sundays. All year around we include fresh produce from the garden and freshly made soups. We also use locally sourced ingredients in addition to what you'll see growing in the gardens. Children's portions also available and we've got a great snack menu for the play area.

From plot to plate, fresh vegetables grown in the walled garden

Did you know that nearly all of the fruit, salad and vegetables served in the Carpenters tea-room are grown in our very own walled garden?

Our garden team have been busy growing parsnips, carrots, potatoes and swedes and we're now starting to use them in our autumn menu. You can ask a member of the team what we're using each week or look out for our seasonal board near the counter.

Take it away

Look out for the take away hot drinks and snacks menu, great for walkers. Bacon and pork baps are favourites along with other irresistible options to enjoy before, during or after your visit to the parkland. Our snack menu is ideal for wildlife watching in our bird hide this winter.
