Here are just some of the ways you can give

  • Contribute to our work

Donations make a real difference to our work. Not only can we protect what you see today, but it could help us make plans for the future. Contribute to our work in general or to a specific place or project in the Peak District, for example you could buy a few trays of cotton grass plants for Kinder or pay for a section of fence to be replaced in the Upper Derwent Valley.

  • Membership

Buying a National Trust membership is a great way to give as you get something more to enjoy at the same time as helping to preserve history. Buy a membership for yourself and/or your partner or purchase as a gift for a loved one to enjoy. If you buy a membership directly from a property from either one of our recruiters or our shops the estate will get more funds to use in their conservation.

  • Sponsorship

Donating to charity doesn’t have to be boring! If you enjoy doing fun runs, cycle rides or climbing mountains you could do this in aid of the National Trust, and know that you are raising funds to care for our nation’s special places. Even better, get sponsored to enter our annual cycling event, 'The Hidden Peak' Sportive.

  • Leave a gift in your will

Create a lasting mark by leaving a gift in your will. Be as specific as you wish; perhaps to countryside you enjoyed or a holiday cottage you've stayed in. If you can't pick a specific area leave an amount for general conservation in the Peak District. The choice is yours.

  • In memory or in celebration

We are currently reviewing our memorials policy and hope to be able respond clearly to your enquiries by 2015.
