Whether you’re looking for a tasty treat, a lovely lunch or a warming drink, our tea-room is a must.
We work hard with local producers to provide you with the best quality food and our kitchen garden provides seasonal fruit and vegetables for our specials.
Special diet? Not a problem. Please ask our team, they'll be happy to help.
The Apple Store
The Apple Store is open for business. Located in the Brewhouse Courtyard this wonderful old building has been carefully converted creating a haven for visitors to relax and unwind. Serving specialised teas, coffees, sandwiches, pastries and handmade cake make this the place to stop on your way to visit the Hall or as you come from the gardens.
Our Chocolate Apple Sponge cake recipe is quick and easy and perfect for the beginner baker. All the ingredients can be put into a food processor to blend, even the apple, so there’s no messing around. It tastes delicious and is a great way to get the children to eat one of their 5 a day. Better still it’s one of the categories in our Produce Show so why not give it a try and let us judge it for you.
Specialised diet or food intolerance? We can help. We have developed a large range made from gluten-free products this year but no requirement is too big or too small. Give us a call before you visit, or speak to a member of staff in the catering team about what would suit your needs from today’s menu. We will try our best to help.
Fancy a shot?
Fancy a coffee or a drinking chocolate with a twist? Give our syrup shots a try. Why not match a gingerbread latte with a piece of our freshly baked gingerbread cake? Or a shot of hazelnut syrup with our new pecan Danish pastry? Whatever the combination it’s sure to give your taste buds a treat and is an extremely delicious way to remember your day.
We are committed to providing the best quality products for you to enjoy and believe in helping our local economy. Our meat is sourced locally wherever possible, the ice-cream comes from Spot Loggins in Worcestershire and we use vegetables from our kitchen garden. Check out the kitchen garden board in the tea-room to see what has been used today.
