If you have some time to spare and are looking to start a new interest in a beautiful setting, then why not join our volunteer team?

We have lots of opportunities available stretching across the whole estate. Interested? Come to our drop-in session between 10.30am – 12noon on 11 February; meet the staff and discuss how you would like to help. Can’t make it? Then please call us on 01746 780866 or email us. Events Assistant

Would you like to get involved with our events? We're looking for an event volunteer to help make our events days really special for our visitors.

If you're highly organised and happy to get involved in event preparation and delivery then this would be the role for you.

Garden Tour Guide

Do you have a love for gardens and feel that you could inspire others? We're looking for garden tour guide volunteers to help bring the gardens to life for our visitors.

If you're a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills then we'd like to hear from you.

Do you love working with people? Could you give each and every one of our visitors a ‘warm and friendly’ welcome?

Our Visitor Reception team are looking for Meeter Greeters to ensure all our visitors get the information they need for a great day out with us. Become part of a great team that strive to make everyone’s day, every day.

Meet Laura Pilborough. Laura is both a Room Guide and Children’s Activities Volunteer. When we needed to launch a major recruitment campaign due to our longer opening hours, Laura decided to help us.

Join a group

Join in with the Staffordshire and Shropshire National Trust Volunteers. A friendly group that work outdoors across all the properties in Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
