Looking to take up a new hobby, learn some new skills or share those you already have? Dudmaston has numerous volunteer roles and are always looking to welcome new faces.

If you're not sure what you fancy or if volunteering is for you just drop us a line

All roles are advertised on the DoIt website  but have a read below for a taster of some of our current vacancies.

Garden Tour Guide

Our garden volunteers really help bring our gardens to life

Do you have a passion for gardens and feel that you could inspire others? We're looking for Garden Tour Guide volunteers to help bring the gardens to life for our visitors. You don't have to be an expert in Latin plant names just a great storyteller who can inspire our visitors with the history of the garden and the key plants that are 'in bloom'.

If you're a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills then we'd love to hear from you.

To get involved or find our more information please contact Guy Lory or call 01746 782827.

Raffle Ticket Seller

Raffle Ticket Sellers work mainly in the Hall and engage visitors in the projects we need to raise funds for in order to maximise ticket sales. It's a really great role for people who like to talk to others, love supporting a cause and get a buzz out of setting themselves a daily target. There's always a bit of friendly competition in the team and some real pride in seeing the results of their hard word come to life.

To get involved please contact Rhiannon Budden or call 01746 780866

Events Volunteer

Our children's crafts are very popular

Events Assistants help to deliver a variety of different events at Dudmaston, from children’s activity days to Christmas fairs, fun runs to falconry displays and campouts to spooky walks. Working with the Marketing and Events Officer you will be involved in the planning, preparation, set up and running of events. It’s about offering something fun and memorable for visitors and encouraging them to return, and/or tell their friends what a great time they have had with us.

Interested?  Contact Caroline Norcott or call 01746 780866
