Take part in the ‘Tour de Dunstable’ this summer.

We’ve everything you need to pedal your way through the beautiful countryside on two wheels. Collect a free map of routes from the Visitor Centre, where you can also re-fill you water bottle, repair a puncture or get an energy boosting snack.

No bike? No problem! Bikes are available to hire for just £2.50 per adult and kids go free.

Kite-Flyings at Dunstable Downs

Take to the skies with your own kite or relax with a picnic on the Downs. Go bird watching and you might even spot a Red Kite. Take in the panoramic views. How many counties can you see?

Can you picture a better place to breathe in fresh air and walk away the cobwebs? Dunstable Downs is within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and it's the highest point in Bedfordshire.
