We're going apple mad for one weekend in October, see 200 varieties of apples, bring yours to be identified (you'll need to bring three from each tree) and have a go at apple tasting. Our bee keepers will also be here to talk about our Dyffryn hives and let you know what our bees have been up to.
Welly week is back this half term, hunt all over the gardens for the hidden wellies and look for the mysterious golden welly. Have a go at some autumnal crafts and go for a mega muddy walk through the arboretum to see the autumn colour.
Our next lecture lunch is from our very own Head Gardener, Chris Flynn, entitled 'Research, interpret, restore-The reimagining of the Edwardian gardens at Dyffryn'. He will talk about what we know about the gardens currently and where we are taking the gardens in the future. The talk will be followed by a light lunch.
