Dyrham Park remains open while roof project underway

Play your part in securing Dyrham Park's future

We're currently fundraising to help with emergency conservation work on Dyrham Park’s mansion house, which is set to cost £3.8m. Can you help us?

Throughout 2015 we will be replacing the lead and slate roof and repairing stonework, as well as installing a new sustainable biomass boiler. We plan to stay open during this time with new exhibitions and activities on offer.

Fundraising appeal

Staff, volunteers and friends of Dyrham Park have had a busy year selling raffle tickets, putting on events and undertaking personal challenges to help raise hundreds of thousands of pounds towards the cost of the roof project. Thanks to everyone who has supported the appeal so far.

Conservation in action

As part of our roof project we're giving you the chance to see conservation in action - to go up on the roof and see the repair work being carried out, to meet our conservation experts and see how we care for our historical items with our new collection stores exhibition.

Get involved

Become part of the team by volunteering with us at Dyrham Park

There will be plenty of opportunities to help us during the roof project, from making a donation or hosting a fundraising event to visiting us, and perhaps even volunteering as a roof guide. If you'd like to help out, please email us or call 0117 937 1330.
